Alex and Maura were very attentive to the sale of the estate property during a challenging time with Covid restrictions. Both were very responsive and helpful in answering questions and brainstorming the best ways in which to promote the property.

Alex worked with us for almost two years to help us prepare our home for sale. He walked through it with us and made recommendations for repairs, improvements, cosmetic changes. He came by a year later and checked on our progress, and began preparing us mentally for the next steps. In early 2018, he helped us establish a timetable for walking through our house with a professional stager, who told us how to declutter and “pre-pack” things so that buyers could more easily envision their own furnishings in it. He arranged for a professional photographer to take the pictures for the listing, set up the online listing site, and whetted interest with a “Coming Soon!” posting. He talked us through the selling process, contracts, arranged for the showings and, within 36 hours or so of our first appointment, we had 3 offers for our asking price, 2 of which were willing to pay more. Alex talked us through each offer, explained advantages and disadvantages of each, and recommended the one that he felt was most to our advantage. He facilitated the contract finalization, acted as our agent for the home inspection and afterwards helped secure the services of a qualified professional who quickly handled the necessary work. At every point, his expertise, integrity, judgment, accessibility, and calm, quiet demeanor helped to allay our concerns and shepherded us through a huge transition in our lives. We are so grateful for all his help and recommend him without reservation.
